I want to share with you some raw data, I mean really raw - scraped skin and bleeding raw. I do this because I feel the need to spread the healing balm of truth which may at first sting a little but ultimately will clear away the infection of a broken & fragmented system and allow for real and true healing.
A lot of healers talk about healing itself, for the patient. This is great, this is fantastic, and I feel very necessary. But there is another side, and as a pioneer in the world of healthcare has said, the system we have now is very broken. To me beyond fixing those who enter the system is the fixing and re-balancing of those within it, namely the practitioners themselves. As one myself I know what it is to be in a system that is imperfect at best and near in shambles in some ways at worst. I feel what it does to me as a person and lament what I feel is the loss of some ideals that I have only been able to regain by entering the world of healing in another respect as an Alternative Health Practitioner.
This idea to express my thoughts came about when aforementioned pioneer put out there a question to her community of followers, readers, supporters, etc of what she should write about. At once the idea came to me "healing the healers"...I began the email I went to finish it and I paused, realizing as a member of the system on both sides of the fence I could say something. So this is my endeavor to do so (as my idea to write a book I don't feel will be enough).
This blog is all about the "other side" the insider's story, the one less told, but all too well known by those within.
